Scenario of your flying lesson Become a co-pilot. Enjoy your flight and try to handle emergency situations. Together with the pilot you
will plan the flight, draw a route into a map, check your airspace, program on-board controllers, check weather conditions and provide aircraft inspection before your flight. You learn how to ask the
clearance to take off and you will hear the real communication with the control tower. As a co-pilot you will recheck preparation for your flight. Is this the right adrenaline experience? You can try your talent and sense of flight control and your
ability to handle emergency situations. After receiving clearance to take off the instructor will position your aircraft on the runway.
Last controllers check-out and the instructor will increase the power, release the breaks and soon you will feel the delight of lifting off and watch the ground fall away as you climb into the sky in front
of you. After lifting off you will be passed the command of navigation using only a map and a compass.
We try following scenarios: Aircraft stall. I have 3 minutes to land.
The aircraft stall might occur during the flight and you will have to help your captain with
diversion to alternate airdrome. In case there is no alternate airdrome near enough you have to help the captain to find appropriate place for a force landing. In this case you will
have to keep the situation under control and announce all important figures you see on the on-board controllers to your captain.
I have no idea where I am and how to get to the airport
During the flight you might lose your orientation. Suddenly you do not know where you are and where you are flying to. You have only your map, compass and on-board navigation
controllers. A dispatcher on your frequency tries to help you but you are 3000ft above the land and you are flying at 80km per hour while the dispatcher is sitting on his comfortable
chair. Now all is just up to you. And there is limited amount of fuel....We will land at least on 2 more airports and on our journey we do not miss any place of interest. Aircraft We use a four-seater aircraft (Cessna 172/182). Before you start you will learn what you
will be doing and how the aircraft flies and we will make the pre-flight preparation together. We will also go through the flight scenario and you will get the instructions for the case of emergency :-)).
The flight includes interlandings and is planned to take about one and half hour. Each participant will take a command of the aircraft for 20 minutes. Co-pilots will change
during our interlandings on 2 next airports. After flight analyze (in a pub) After returning to the airport we will have after flight briefing where we will talk about the
whole flight and share our experience. We will talk about all you want to know about flying. Prepare your questions.
